Vicki Stivala  has “quietly assisted” performers for years. Her work with cabaret artists has included helping with the creation of a show's concept and structure, song selection, presentation, and promotion. She has researched and organized biographical material, including interviews, anecdotes, music, video and radio tapes, memorabilia and other ephemera for shows about composers and lyricists (e.g., Stephen Sondheim, Alan Jay Lerner) as well as shows with a particular theme (e.g., "The Music of Berlin, Paris, and New York in the 1930s"). Her clients have had successful engagements at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room, Café Sabarsky at The Neue Galerie, and Feinstein’s at The Regency.

Vicki enjoys working with young theater professionals, in particular, the creative teams for plays and musicals. Her skills include evaluating and offering suggestions about a show’s structure, character strength and development, pacing, and tone. She most recently did consulting for a production at NYMF and an ASCAP/DreamWorks Musical Theatre workshop.

In addition to her work in the entertainment field, Vicki has a JD and an MBA and was the  producer of a nationally broadcast weekly television series that ran for 10 years. She is attuned to the legal and business issues that entertainers typically encounter. Because of the professional relationships she has developed through her experience in television, entertainment, and law, she can connect her clients with legal and accounting firms,  public relations experts, and media outlets that specialize in the business and marketing aspects of the performing arts world.

Vicki is currently working on her own creative endeavor — a book about the history of a renowned New York City music venue inhabited by nightclub divas, Broadway veterans, and brash, young jazz artists.
